St Andrews Strings
St Andrews Strings is St Andrews' only string orchestra, performing music from a large variety of genres. Formed in 2017, the group is the Music Society's youngest ensemble.
Strings consists of a small group of string players, allowing them to perform unconducted. Repertoire ranges from Baroque and Romantic works to modern pieces, including film music.
The ensemble rehearses weekly on a Thursday from 5 - 7pm, typically performing once a semester in concerts alongside the University of St Andrews Chamber Choir.
