St Andrews Strings and Chamber Choir Concert

Chamber Choir and Strings are delighted to present their second joint concert of the academic year, their chosen repertoire exploring folk music from all corners of the globe, as well as closer to home. Both ensembles will delve into themes of love, home and beauty, culminating in a joint performance of Eric Whitacre's Five Hebrew Love Songs.

From nostalgic video game music to fast jazz-fusion, Big BUStA are cooking up a wild set list for the second semesterly concert of the academic year! Join them for an evening showcasing some of St Andrews' top jazz talent. In addition, the University of St Andrews Wind Band, St Andrews’ largest wind ensemble and un-auditioned group, also invites you enjoy an evening of music under the guide of our student conductors.

From classic wind band selections as well as more modern arrangements of popular film scores and music, they look forward to welcoming you!

From the lush calls of birdsong in Respighi’s Pines of Rome, and the intricate harmonies of Ibert's Flute Concerto, to the sweeping melodies of Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony, the student-led St Andrews Symphony Orchestra presents a program demonstrating romanticism at its finest.

Ukelear Fusion Presents : A Night at the Movies

Ukelear Fusion, St Andrew’s one and only ukulele band, returns to the stage this semester for their semesterly concert. Get your popcorn and your 3D glasses, this semester the group is so excited to bring you beyond the screen and into the soundtracks of some of your favourite films! From Disney Movies to musicals to iconic songs featured on your favourite soundtracks, it is sure to be a cinematic experience.

Social Events

As well as group socials after rehearsals, we also organise larger whole society events such as our Fresher's BBQ, Formal Dinner and Music Ball!
