Auditions for the 2025/2026 academic year will take place in Week 1 from the 14th to 18th of September in the Laidlaw Music Centre.

Auditions for our ensembles are very informal and usually involve playing/singing a piece of your choice followed by some sightreading. Further group-specific details can be found on each of our ensemble pages and on social media.

Audition times and locations are as follows: 

​

Big Band: Monday 14th (1-5pm) / Tuesday 15th September (1-4pm) in the Gifford Room 

​

Symphony Orchestra: Tuesday 15th (11am-6pm) / Wednesday 16th (9am-3pm) September in the McPherson Recital Room 

​

Chamber Choir: Monday 14th (1-4pm) / Wednesday 16th September (1-3.30pm) in the McPherson Recital Room then Gifford Room respectively

Strings: Thursday 17th September (9am-1pm) in the McPherson Recital Room 

​

Ukelear Fusion: Thursday 17th (5-6pm) / Friday 18th September (4-6pm) in the Gifford Room
