About The Event
In the majestic setting of Holy Trinity Church, Music Society’s flagship ensemble presents a variety of Eastern European works including Rimsky-Korsakov’s ‘Scheherazade’. Taking its name from the central character in ‘One Thousand and One Nights’, Arabian influences intertwine with those of Imperial Russia to create an especially vibrant piece with fresh melodies and colourful orchestration.
Tickets: £8 (standard), £5 (students), £1 (MusSoc Members), FREE (MusicCard holders)
Tickets available on the door and online at www.yourunion.net under ‘Events’.
